What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies make it possible to store or access information on a device. Some are necessary to provide the service, while others help us understand how the website is used.
Necessary technologies
Supabase uses session storage to authenticate users, keep accounts signed in and protect private areas. These technologies are necessary when an account is used and are not used for advertising.
Cookie-free aggregate analytics
- Vercel Web Analytics measures page views and aggregate technical data without using third-party cookies or retaining persistent personal identifiers.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics collects performance and traffic metrics without cookies and states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data.
PostHog
PostHog is used for product analytics, interaction events, flags and experiments, error detection and session recording. It connects through the first-party /ingest endpoint and is configured for the European region.
It may store identifiers in cookies or local storage, record interactions and associate authenticated users' activity with their identifier and email. Session recordings may include a visual representation of browsing activity.
Under the current configuration, PostHog starts automatically. A prior-consent and preference mechanism is pending implementation; this information policy does not replace consent where it is legally required.
How to control these technologies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may sign you out or prevent private areas from working. To ask about or request the deletion of data associated with your account, email [email protected].
Updates
This policy will be reviewed when storage or analytics technologies are added, removed or changed. The date above shows the latest update.
