Berrea Trail Race

La Berrea Trail Race is a mountain race held in early December in Orihuela del Tremedal, in the Sierra de Albarracín region, in the north-west of the province of Teruel. It is organised by the municipality with the support of the Provincial Council of Teruel and the start is from the municipal sports hall. The long course measures 23 kilometres with 1,000 metres of elevation gain and includes the climb and descent to Alto del Caimodorro, at 1,936 metres, the most demanding and technical point of the event. The intermediate distance, of 13 kilometres and 600 metres of elevation gain, also runs through high-mountain terrain with medium difficulty, among stands of Scots pine and rodeno.
