Carrera por Montaña Garganta de los Infiernos

The Garganta de los Infiernos Mountain Race celebrates its 15th edition on Sunday 18 April 2027 in Jerte, in the heart of the Valle del Jerte. Its single route of 26 kilometres accumulates 1500 metres of elevation gain and runs through the Garganta de los Infiernos Natural Reserve, between steep slopes, rocky paths and mountain bridges that demand good technique both on the climbs and on the descents. It is organised by the Club Deportivo Jerte, with the start at 9:30 from Plaza de la Independencia, which also hosts the finish. As it takes place in a protected natural setting, the number of places is limited, and participants must carry mandatory equipment such as a windproof jacket, a thermal blanket, a whistle and a water container.
