Cross al Yelmo

The Cross al Yelmo celebrates its XXIII edition on Saturday 17 October 2026 in Manzanares el Real, with start and finish in the Plaza del Pueblo. Club La Pedriza del Manzanares organises this mountain race, which is included in the Copa Madrileña de Carreras por Montaña. The official event admits participants from the cadet category, while the children’s programme takes place in parallel and is not included in this listing. The official route covers approximately 15,6 kilometres and adds around 800 metres of elevation gain. The climb passes through the Garganta de la Camorza, Canto Cochino, the Refugio Giner and the collado de la Dehesilla to the Pradera del Yelmo; the descent continues along the senda de la Rinconada, the Gran Cañada and the collado de la Cueva before returning to the built-up area.
