Cursa de la Vaca

La Cursa de la Vaca celebrates a new edition in Vallfogona de Balaguer, with routes of 10 and 5 km that run through the nearby natural surroundings of the municipality and along dirt tracks and fast sections of track. The event maintains the popular and family character that has made it recognisable, combining the race with a non-competitive walk over the same short route. The organisers take special care of the club atmosphere, with open participation and a strong community spirit. The day includes liquid refreshment stations along the routes and a final refreshment station with solid food for all participants. There is also an unlisted baggage check service, parking areas, toilets, changing rooms and showers by the municipal swimming pools, as well as pacers for the long distance. Registration is handled online and the walk shares the same organisational framework, with a race number, runners’ bag and official gift for those who are registered.
