Carrera de Montaña de Girona

The Girona Mountain Race celebrates a new edition with a start in the historic centre of Girona and passing through the Gavarres massif, an environment closely linked to trail running in the area. The routes combine paths, tracks and urban sections, with a fast and surprising profile that links the city with Palamós in the long-distance event, offering a very varied and visual experience. The organisers look after the day with in-race and finish-line refreshment stations, chip timing, online results, photos, a baggage check service, route assistance, a medical point, showers, toilets and car parks. It also includes a non-competitive children’s category in Girona and a walk start when indicated, with special attention to recreational runners looking for a well signposted and comfortable event.
