La Cursa de Nadalt celebrates its vertical race in Bellmunt, a festive-style climb along the Camí Vell to the Santuario de Bellmunt. The route totals 3.862 metres and 620 metres of elevation gain, with technical sections alternated with more runnable stretches, always uphill, and with an individual start every 20 seconds from Sant Pere de Torelló. The event takes place on 26 December and proposes a short but intense effort, ideal for those looking for a demanding climb in the mountains. The organisers limit participation to 350 runners, set up men’s and women’s categories, and provide liquid refreshment stations halfway along the route. At the summit, the views over the area are on offer, as well as a very characteristic end-of-year local atmosphere.
