Cursa de Tivissa

The XX Cursa de Tivissa celebrates a new edition in the heart of the Ribera d'Ebre, with a start in Tivissa and routes that climb along paths, ridgelines and mountain tracks between the sierra and emblematic places such as La Tossa, the Coll del Ventall, Monegrets and the Coll de Monetze. The event stands out for its technical character, for the landscape of rocks and Mediterranean woodland, and for the link between sport, nature and history that the surroundings of the Castellet de Banyoles provide. The organisers offer 2 formats: a long race and a more accessible distance with a walk option, as well as bib-chip, baggage check, showers, medical assistance and refreshment stations at various points along the route. The day includes a briefing, distribution of race numbers and a final meal for participants, with a checkpoint for pace, recommended self-sufficiency equipment and authorisation for minors. There is also special attention to volunteering and safety throughout the entire course.
