Cursa del Seguici

La Cursa del Seguici de Tarragona celebrates its 12th edition on 8 August 2026 with a popular route of 5 km and an elevation gain of 80 metres. The start is at the Plaça de la Font and the finish is at the Pla de la Seu, with a very spectacular finale along carrer Major and the stairs up to the cathedral, in the heart of the city’s historic centre. This is an event designed to enjoy Tarragona’s festive local atmosphere, with a night start at 21:00 and refreshment stations at the finish. The organisers also include children’s races by age group, which reinforces its participatory and family character, in a brief, accessible date closely linked to the city’s monumental heart.
