Cursa pel cor de la Fageda

The Cursa pel cor de la Fageda takes place in Santa Pau, in the heart of the Garrotxa area, with start and finish at the facilities of the Club Poliesportiu Santa Pau. The event offers a route through highly recognisable areas of the region, passing through the Fageda d’en Jordà, the volcanoes of the county and sections alongside the medieval centre of Santa Pau, in a protected natural setting. The race offers distances for different levels, with competitive routes as well as walking options, plus a family event of 6 km. In general, fast routes with manageable elevation gain predominate, although some areas include paths and stretches through woodland. The organisers provide refreshment stations on the longer routes, services for competitors and prizes for the first finishers in the competitive events.
