Cursa Popular de Porqueres

La Cursa Popular de Porqueres celebrates its 29th edition and is the most veteran event in the Circuit de Curses Populars del Pla de l’Estany. The start and finish are at the Pavelló Municipal d’Esports de Porqueres, on a day that combines local atmosphere, participation by categories, and a short-distance route designed to enjoy the surroundings. With 7.2 km and an elevation gain of 94 metres, the race takes place in the natural surroundings of Miànigues, a route that is accessible and varied for runners of different ages. The organisers provide liquid and solid refreshment at the finish, preventive service, a gift, and a prize for the best local, in an event that is already established within the county calendar.
