Cursafosca

La Cursafosca is a semi-nocturnal mountain race in Torrelles de Foix, in the heart of the Penedès, which offers three routes through forests, tracks, pistes and technical sections under the light of late afternoon and night. The 2026 edition maintains the unique spirit of “la seminocturna del Penedès”, with a very demanding 21 km trail, a 14 km cursa and a 12 km walk, all of them passing through emblematic places such as the Santuari de Foix and other paths in the surrounding natural and wine-growing area. The organisers provide bib collection at the Casal Torrellenc, cloakroom, showers and changing rooms, timing, sports insurance, medical and ambulance assistance, physiotherapist service, photos along the route and refreshment stations on route and at the finish. The walk shares the start and route with a non-competitive format, and the event includes age categories, authorisations for under-18s and mandatory equipment such as a headlamp and a mobile phone with charge, as well as a clear commitment to environmental respect.
