CxM Almargen Memorial Mercedes Guerrero Fontalba

The II CxM Almargen Memorial Mercedes Guerrero Fontalba will take place on 12 September 2026 in Almargen, Málaga. The event is included in the official calendar of the Federación Andaluza de Deportes de Montaña, Escalada y Senderismo and proposes routes through the municipality’s natural surroundings, with technical trails and paths linked to the Sierra and the valley of the Cañada de la Saucedilla. The programme brings together a main event, the Trail Largo of 27 km and 1,100 m of elevation gain, as well as a Trail Corto of 13 km and 400 m of elevation gain. It also offers a non-competitive hiking format of 11 km, included as a Walk. The race pays tribute to Mercedes Guerrero Fontalba and is organised in Almargen by the Town Council of the locality.
