CXM La Calzada

The Town Council of Vícar is organising the II CXM La Calzada on 15 November 2026, with start and finish at the Palacio de Deportes de Vícar, in Las Cabañuelas. The day takes place entirely within the municipal area, along tracks, footpaths and wadis of the Sierra de Gádor, and includes the descent along the historic Calzada Romana as one of its most representative sections. The programme brings together the Trail, Mini Trail and a non-competitive walk. The routes pass through areas such as La Envía Golf, La Espartera and the Mirador del Amor, combining mountain scenery, local heritage and sporting togetherness. The event sets a maximum of 250 entrants per category and provides refreshment stations, accident insurance, a runner’s bag, food afterwards and a finisher gift for those who complete their route.
