Desafío La Codosera

The Desafío La Codosera will celebrate its VII edition on 29 November 2026 in La Codosera, Badajoz. The mountain race forms part of the Circuito Euroace Sport de Carreras por Montaña and, for the first time, will be eligible for UTMB Index points. The day will start at Plaza Ejido Luz, by the Town Council, and will run through the mountainous and border surroundings of the town, with a local atmosphere. The programme includes the Desafío, the main event of 32 kilometres and 1,300 metres of elevation gain; the Mini Desafío, of 15 kilometres and 560 metres positive; and a non-competitive hiking route of 10 kilometres with 300 metres positive. The two races are intended for participants aged 18 and over, while the hiking proposal also allows under-18s to take part when accompanied.
