Desafío Las Reliquias – Perdonanza

The sixth edition of the Desafío Las Reliquias – Perdonanza will take place on Saturday 19 September 2026. The trail race starts in La Foz de Morcín and finishes in the Plaza de la Catedral de Oviedo, following an itinerary that links the surroundings of Monsacro, Santa Eulalia de Morcín, Palomar, Quintaniella, Mount El Caleyo and the Fuso path before its final urban section. The Trail offers 27 kilometres, with 1,590 metres of elevation gain and a maximum of six and a half hours to complete the course. The organisers also schedule a parallel walk of 11 kilometres from the church in Palomar to the Cathedral, with a start time of 10:00. Both activities are integrated into the celebration of the Perdonanza and evoke the historic transfer of the relics to the Sancta Ovetensis.
