Desafío Urbión

Desafío Urbión will hold its 2026 edition in Covaleda, Soria, between 4 and 6 September. The adult sports programme brings together three mountain races: the main event Desafío Urbión, 37 km and 2,600 m of elevation gain, as well as the OPEN format, 17 km and 1,200 m+, and 6K, 6 km and 300 m+. The 37 km race will start on Saturday 5 September from Covaleda. The OPEN and 6K events will take place on Sunday 6 September, also with start and finish in the town. The main route runs through the surroundings of the Urbión glacial lagoons, climbs peaks of more than 2,000 metres and passes by Laguna Negra, the source of the River Duero and the Hayedo.
