Gran Maratón Montañas de Benasque

The Gran Maratón Montañas de Benasque celebrates its 12th edition on Saturday 12 June 2027 in Benasque, in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees. It is a demanding high-mountain event, between snow, water, rock and meadows. Its flagship distance is a mountain marathon of 42 kilometres for experienced runners; it is complemented by a 28-kilometre race, technical and fast, and another 19-kilometre race designed as an introduction to the mountains. The three distances are UTMB Index races: the 42-kilometre distance scores in the 50K category and the 28 and 19 kilometre distances, in the 20K. Each event has specific aid stations, with hydration and food, located according to the demands of the distance.
