HOKA Val d’Aran by UTMB® is held in the heart of the Pyrenees and brings together seven mountain races between Vielha, Les, Salardú, Bossòst and Pla de Beret. The event is part of the UTMB World Series and, for the fifth year in a row, will be the European Major of the circuit, at a meeting that allocates direct places for the UTMB Mont-Blanc final among the best-placed finishers on the main distances. The route combines high mountain terrain, glacial lakes, broad valleys and iconic passes such as the Colomèrs area, the Portilhon de Marimanha or Tuc deth Dossau. It is a demanding event, with significant elevation gain and mandatory equipment adapted to Alpine weather conditions. In addition, the organisers promote collective transport and various initiatives linked to the local area, inclusion and sustainability.
