Izki Trail

The V. Izki Trail will take place on 6 September 2026 in Apellániz / Apilaiz, within the municipality of Arraia-Maeztu. The Asociación Cultural Karrantan–Oskarbi organises this mountain race, whose start and finish will be located in Gerardo López de Guereñu Square. The event runs largely through the Izki Natural Park and aims to highlight its natural surroundings. The programme includes two competitive routes: Izki Trail 21k and Izki Trail 13k. The longer distance totals 21.8 km and 763 m of elevation gain, while the shorter one records 12.8 km and 450 m. Both formats start on Sunday: the 21k at 09:00 and the 13k at 09:10. Entries are available until 1 September, unless the places are filled beforehand.
