Marató Vies Verdes

The Marató Vies Verdes de Girona will take place on 26 April 2026 along the Vía Verde del Carrilet, a route that is mostly flat, with 80% compacted dirt track and the rest asphalt, with no technical trails. The race runs in full nature, between rural landscapes and with a route that links mountain and sea, so mixed footwear is recommended and a steady approach to effort is advised. The programme includes distances of 42K, 30K, 21K and 10K, with a joint start at 9:00 and an accessible profile within the trail, especially in the shorter options. There will be refreshment stations, chip timing, a finisher medal, baggage check and medical assistance. The organisers set cut-off times and age categories, and the minimum participation age is 16 years for the authorised distances.
