The OTSO Travessa d'Encamp celebrates its 44th edition in the heart of Andorra, with start and finish at the Plaça dels Arínsols in Encamp. The event runs through some of the most spectacular landscapes of the Pyrenees and draws on the setting of the high Andorran mountains, with trails, sustained elevation gain and terrain typical of alpine trail running. Its programme brings together distances for all levels and maintains the emblematic character of a race deeply rooted in the mountains. The organisation includes a personalised race number, a T-shirt, commemorative socks and a medal for all finishers. It also provides aid stations during the race, transport of the life bag on the 84K and a bib collection service by time slots. The children’s races are non-competitive and do not have aid stations; in addition, rations of paella are reserved for Sunday and there is an expo, prize-giving and draws for equipment for those registered.
