Peñarrubia Lorca Trail

The XIV Peñarrubia Lorca Trail – Gran Premio Regino Rodríguez Bermejo will take place on 13 September 2026 in Lorca. The charity event, organised by the Club Deportivo APAT Lorca Cumpliendo Sueños, runs through the Sierra de la Peña Rubia, alongside the city, and forms part of the Juegos Deportivos del Guadalentín. It also counts towards the FMRM Regional Mountain Running League and the SAYCU Valle del Guadalentín League. The programme brings together the Extreme, Sprint and Open races, as well as their DÚO formats for mixed pairs, and a non-competitive walk. The adult events cover routes from 10 to 24 kilometres, with published elevation gain figures between 440 and 1,500 metres depending on the option. The start and finish are located at the C.E.I.P. Pérez de Hita, in the La Viña district, and the proceeds support early care in Lorca.
