Periche Trail

Periche Trail will hold its third edition on 7 November 2026 in Los Villares, Jaén. The mountain race, organised by the Town Council of Los Villares with the collaboration of the Club de Atletismo Los Villares, will have its start and finish in Plaza Fernando Feijoó. The routes run through the surroundings of the Paraje de Las Cimbras and Otíñar, combining trails and elevation gain in a mountain landscape. The programme brings together two competitive races, CxM Periche 23K and CxM Periche 15K, as well as a non-competitive hiking format over the short route. The long distance is 23 km and 1,369 m of elevation gain; the two 15 km options add up to 922 m of elevation gain. The organisers have set a total limit of 350 participants and plan refreshment stations, medical assistance and safety services throughout the day.
