Snow Running Sierra Nevada

The 16th edition of Snow Running Sierra Nevada will take place on 6 February 2027 at the Sierra Nevada Ski and Mountain Station, in Monachil (Granada). Born in 2012, it is a snow mountain race that starts at dusk from Pradollano, climbs along the slopes to Borreguiles, at 2,700 metres, and finishes at night in Pradollano. The Clásica covers 12.7 kilometres and 920 metres of elevation gain, and the popular format runs 8.2 kilometres with 663 metres. The field is 800 runners and entry for the Clásica costs between 57 and 64 euros for non-federated participants. It includes two refreshment stations, one on the route and another at the finish with chocolate with churros, free covered parking, showers, a cloakroom, and lifts to get back down from Borreguiles in the event of withdrawal. The use of trekking poles is not permitted.
