The Way of Legends

The Way of Legends is a multi-stage ultra trail race organised by Bravum Defiance S.L. in the province of Burgos. Its seventh edition will take place from 15 to 23 October 2027, with six competitive days between 17 and 22 October. The route links San Pedro Cardeña, Covarrubias, Santo Domingo de Silos, Caleruega, Peñaranda de Duero, La Vid and Burgos. The event totals 191 kilometres and 4,680 metres of elevation gain, split across six stages. The first five run along tracks and paths in the Ribera del Arlanza and the Ribera del Duero, while the last finishes at Burgos Cathedral after a section of the Camino de Santiago. Registration includes accommodation, meals, medical support, marking and course controls along the route.
