Trail Cártama

The Trail Cártama celebrates its ninth edition on Sunday 14 March 2027 as a tribute to Francisco Contreras, Superpaco, with start and finish at the Ciudad Deportiva de Cártama, in the Valle del Guadalhorce. Its routes cross the Sierra de los Espartales in three competitive distances of 21, 12 and 8 kilometres, with 300 places per distance and a time limit of four and a half hours in the long-distance event. The programme also includes a non-competitive 10-kilometre walk route and, on Saturday 13, the junior races, whose categories from under-12 to under-16 are part of the Campeonato de Andalucía de Trail Running. The refreshment stations operate on semi-self-sufficiency and without plastic cups, so a reusable cup is mandatory. At the finish there is a medal and a plate of rice with a drink.
