Trail El Calero

Trail El Calero is a mountain race organised by the Town Council of Barruelo de Santullán, with the collaboration of the Barruelo de Santullán Local Board and the Puentecillas Athletics Club. The 3rd edition will take place on 3 October 2026, with start and finish in Barruelo de Santullán, and it will count towards the Palencia Trail Series 2026. The programme brings together two trail races and a non-competitive walk. The long course has 25 km and 1,000 m of elevation gain. The short trail totals 8.4 km and 295 m of elevation gain; the walk also has the same figures. The start of the long trail will be at 10:00 from the Polideportivo Chechu Gómez Calleja; the short trail and the walk will start at 10:30 from the same venue. The regulations provide for online entries until 1 October at 15:00 and, if bibs remain, in-person registration on the day of the event.
