Trail El Mazucu Rebulle

The Trail El Mazucu Rebulle is a mountain race held at the beginning of November in El Mazucu, a hamlet of the Town Council of Llanes known for the battle fought there in 1937. The start and finish are in the village and the route, 12 kilometres with close to 950 metres of elevation gain, has as its highest point the summit of Peña Blanca, in the Sierra del Cuera. It is a short but very vertical event, on technical terrain between tracks, meadows and limestone, with views of the sea and the Picos de Europa. With a local atmosphere and local organisation, it has established itself in just a few editions within the Asturian autumn calendar and lays claim to the historical memory of the surrounding area.
