Trail Hojas Muertas

The Trail Hojas Muertas is the mountain running part of the Hojas Muertas de Montalbán event, in the comarca of las Cuencas Mineras, in the north of the province of Teruel. Club BTT Montalbán has been organising it for more than two decades and it forms part of the official mountain races calendar of Aragón. The long race measures 25 kilometres with 1,100 metres of elevation gain and the short one 12 kilometres with 500 metres, designed for those starting out in trail running. The routes alternate between streets in the urban centre, paths, tracks and stretches of mountain through the mountain ranges of the Martín river basin.
