Trail Peón

Trail Peón is a mountain footrace that will take place on 29 August 2026 in the Asturian parish of Peón, within the municipality of Villaviciosa. The organisers set the start and finish at the Prau de la Fiesta de Peón. The route runs through meadows, paths, streams, tracks, mud, gravel, tarmac, footpaths and roads, between the valley and the surrounding mid-mountain area. The adult programme includes Speed Trail, 13.6 km and 680 m of elevation gain, and Half Trail, 21.6 km and 960 m of elevation gain. Both events are held in a semi-self-sufficient format; participants must bring their own drinking container, as the refreshment stations will not provide cups. The event is organised by the Comisión de Fiestas de Peón together with the Town Council of Villaviciosa.
