Trail Puerta del Rey

The Trail Puerta del Rey celebrates its 10th edition on 30 and 31 January 2027 in Cañete (Cuenca). The 29-kilometre trail with 1,850 metres of elevation gain includes the climb to the peak Cabeza de Don Pedro and hosts the XXVI Campeonato en Línea Absoluto de Carreras por Montaña de Castilla-La Mancha. The 13-kilometre sprint trail loops around the town via the Barranco del Gorgocil and the area of El Postigo. On Saturday, the programme opens with a 6-kilometre nocturnal time trial, with a mandatory headlamp and a combined classification with the events on Sunday. The non-competitive 11-kilometre walking event runs around the castle of Cañete and El Postigo. There are refreshment stations on the course and at the finish, and each participant must bring their own cup or container.
