Transgrancanaria

La Transgrancanaria 2027 takes place from 22 to 28 February and crosses Gran Canaria from north to south along the ridge, the Caldera de Tejeda and Tamadaba up to the Parque Sur de Maspalomas. The Classic, 126 kilometres and 6,764 metres of elevation gain, starts from Las Canteras and is part of the World Trail Majors; the Advanced starts in Teror with 82 kilometres and the Marathon starts in Tejeda with 47. The programme also includes the new Open Agáldar of 21 kilometres, the KV El Gigante between Agaete and Tamadaba, the Half of 23 from Santa Lucía de Tirajana, the Promo of 12 between Artenara and Tejeda and the Short of 5 kilometres in Teror. There is also Family Trail and a children’s race, with aid stations and medical assistance.
