La Travessa Trail Montsant-Muntanyes de Prades is an endurance trail running event that runs through two natural spaces of great landscape value, with start and finish in Prades. Its format combines self-sufficiency, GPS navigation and unmarked routes, in a demanding mountain setting where roads and paths and trails predominate, with refreshment stations and bases of life spaced very far apart. The event offers several distances within this same format, with significant elevation gain and generous cut-off times to manage effort, rest and mandatory equipment. It is intended for adult runners, in individual or two-person team format, and awards UTMB and ITRA points in its longest events. External assistance is only permitted at specific points along the route, reinforcing its adventurous character and semi-self-sufficiency.
