Txara Trail

Txara Trail celebrates its fifth edition on 24 October 2026 in Markina-Xemein, Bizkaia, under the organisation of Aringa Aringa Markina-Xemein. The mountain day brings together two competitive races: Txara Trail, with 18 km and 1,150 m of elevation gain, and Txaramotx, with 10 km and 600 m of elevation gain. It also includes a non-competitive walk that allows participants to choose between the short and long routes. The start of the long event is scheduled for 09:30, that of Txaramotx for 10:00, and the walks begin at 08:00. Registration for Txara Trail costs 22 € until 27 September and 27 € until the closing date; for Txaramotx, 15 € and 18 €, respectively. Both walk options keep fees of 15 € and 18 € according to the registration deadline.
