XtremeLagos de Covadonga

La XtremeLagos de Covadonga celebrates its 19th edition on Saturday 8 May 2027 in Cangas de Onís. The Maratón XtremeLagos, 42 kilometres and 3.050 metres of elevation gain, starts from El Repelao, in Covadonga, and crosses the Parque Nacional de los Picos de Europa via the Vega de Comeya, the Lago Ercina and the Vega de Enol, with the Porra de Enol (1.260 m) as the high point, to the Plaza de la Estrella. The TrailXtreme, 14 kilometres, starts from Cangas de Onís and runs outside the park via Vega Oñañes, Següencu and Nieda. The marathon has eight aid stations, a bus to the start, baggage storage and showers, with a quota of 400 race numbers per distance. Under-15s have the PequeXtreme, of around 4 kilometres and with no competitive character.
