Backyard Ultra Almaraz

Backyard Ultra Almaraz will celebrate its II edition on 14 November 2026 at the Polideportivo Multiusos de Almaraz, Cáceres. The event, included in the international Backyard Ultra calendar, proposes a resistance format with starts every hour: each participant must complete the daytime or night-time circuit of 6,706 km within a maximum of 60 minutes in order to take the next start. The route, which is marked out, combines livestock tracks, footpaths, tracks and urban areas. The classification is determined exclusively by the number of laps completed, and the winner is the one who manages to complete a lap alone within the allotted time. The programme for adults includes Ultra, 100K, Marathon and Pairs; the 100K and Marathon categories have a maximum number of laps set, while Ultra does not set a limit.
