BackyardXtrem

BackyardXtrem proposes a very demanding and tough circuit in the Serralada Litoral, starting in Argentona and with a local atmosphere of personal challenge. The marked route combines approximately 25% track and 75% trail, with 6.7 km and 435 m of elevation gain per lap, designed to test pacing control and mental endurance. The Backyard Ultra format requires completing a lap every hour until only one person is left standing, so it does not reward pure speed but rather the management of pace and recovery. It is an ideal event for experienced trail runners who want to measure their limits in an environment that is very runnable but tough, with the Castell de Burriac as a reference point for the event’s mountain character.
