Cursa Rocanegra

The Cursa Rocanegra is a mountain race with deep roots in Sant Boi de Llobregat, born in 2011 as Memorial Ricard Verge and managed since 2022 by the Associació d’Amics de la Roca Negra. The event takes place in the setting of the Sant Boi mountains, with a clearly trail character and a focus on sustainability, safety and local atmosphere between runners and volunteers. The organisers provide chip timing, live tracking, refreshment stations, showers, baggage storage and recovery services. The course is presented as demanding and fast, with sections of sustained effort and very fast descents, so it is advisable to prepare your strength and downhill technique well. In addition, the event includes children’s activities and other support services for runners, reinforcing its family-friendly and participatory profile.
