Caraamon & Trail Comaminyana

Caraamon & Trail Comaminyana takes place in the Vall de Boí, with Barruera as the hub of the event, during the last weekend of May. The fixture brings together a vertical race and several mountain races with a competitive local atmosphere and presence in the Copa Catalana and the Campeonato de Cataluña, depending on the format. The route moves through alpine and high-mountain terrain, with marked elevation gain, technical profiles and sections that demand good endurance and safety on descents. The programme combines the Caraamon KV and the Trail Comaminyana, with distances of 21K, 13K and 7K, as well as proposals for younger categories and other sporting activities. The experience is designed for runners of different levels, although the longer distances are particularly demanding due to altitude, elevation gain and the technical nature of the terrain. The organisers provide refreshment stations, timing, safety and mandatory equipment adapted to mountain conditions.
