Cartagena Backyard Ultra

The Cartagena Backyard Ultra will celebrate its 4th edition on 12 September 2026 in Cartagena. The start and finish of each lap will be located at the Palacio de Deportes de Cartagena, and entry will be reserved for people who are at least 18 years old on the day of the event. The competition follows the Backyard Ultra format: runners must complete a 6,706 km circuit before each hourly start and continue lap after lap as long as they meet the set time. The route will combine tracks, paths and tarmac, with 195 metres of elevation gain per lap and a section of technical descent.
