Cursa Cassoles de Tros

La Cursa i Caminada Cassoles de Tros celebrates its 11th edition in Juneda, with start and finish in Plaça Catalunya. The event runs along the tree-lined verge of the Canal d’Urgell, between dirt tracks and emblematic areas such as the first and second machine, the 9 jumps, the meander and the Collet, in a shaded and pleasant setting for running or walking. The programme includes two races of 5 and 10 km and two walks of 8 and 14 km. The athletic events are timed with a chip and the 10 km race counts towards the Lliga de Ponent. The walks are not competitive. The organisers provide refreshment stations, a runner’s bag, insurance and medical services, with an evening start that turns the day into an open proposal for athletes of different levels, with local atmosphere.
