Cursa de les Roques

The Cursa de les Roques is a trail running event held in Horta de Sant Joan, in the heart of the Natural Park dels Ports, with start and finish in Plaça Catalunya. The 2026 edition will be the 14th and forms part of the Circuit de Curses per Muntanya de les Terres de l’Ebre, with a main route that is highly technical and demanding, designed for those looking for elevation gain, mountain trails and exposed sections. The course runs through the Serra d’Horta, the Mola d’Atans, the Tossal d’Engrilló and the mountain of Santa Bárbara, with passage through the old town at the end. The organisers warn that it is not a race for beginners, as it combines steep climbs, technical terrain and marked descents. In the area there will be solid and liquid refreshment stations, as well as a baggage check service and medical assistance.
