Cursa de Muntanya Serra d'Orpesa

La Cursa de Muntanya Serra d'Orpesa (CMSO) is a mountain race held in November in Oropesa del Mar, in the Plana Alta district, in the north of the province of Castellón. The start and finish are located in the Plaza de la Iglesia in the old town, by the sea. The long course, called CMSO 20K over 20,1 kilometres with 735 metres of elevation gain, and the short course, CMSO 12K over 12 kilometres with 407 metres of elevation gain, run through the Serra d'Orpesa and the surrounding area of Bartolo and the Torre del Rei, alternating technical trails of the coastal range with sections along the Mediterranean coast.
