Cursa Popular de Bagà

The Cursa Popular de Bagà forms part of the Festa Major and proposes a route of around 8 km through the centre of the town and its surroundings. It is an accessible and very fast race, with a mix of urban sections and paths, designed to enjoy the local atmosphere in the heart of the Berguedà. The start and finish are located at the Plaça Raval, in a lively setting closely linked to local sporting tradition. The day also includes children’s races and adapted categories, so it brings together participants of all ages. The start is scheduled from 9:00 onwards and the organisers provide refreshment stations halfway along the route, as well as botifarra on arrival. This is a festive and family event, with trophies for the first finishers in each category and a certificate and gift for participants who request them.
