Pedraforca Xtrail

The Pedraforca Xtrail takes place in Saldes, at the foot of the Pedraforca, in the heart of the Natural Park of Cadí-Moixeró and the Ensija range. The event proposes a day in the mountains with routes that combine trails, demanding elevation gain and passages through emblematic places such as the Comabona, Prats d’Aguiló, the Pas de Gosolans, Gresolet, El Collell, Gósol and the Estasen refuge. The race offers a mountain profile for different levels, with a marathon of 42 km, a 26 km trail and a short 10 km format that can also be done by walk. The routes run between high altitudes, up to 2,400 metres in the marathon, and require respect for a very sensitive natural environment, so signage and rules for passing are especially important.
