Encantada de Font-rubí

La Encantada de Font-rubí is a mountain event held in Guardiola de Font-rubí, with start and finish in the sports area of the municipality. The day combines a run and a walk, and sets out a route along paths, tracks and sections between vineyards, passing points such as the masía of Pereres, the serra Gavatxa and the surroundings of the Castell de Font-rubí, where the elevation gain and the views over the Penedès take centre stage. The edition includes a long trail of 25 km and a short one of 12 km, as well as a 12 km walk. The more demanding route totals around 700 m of elevation gain, with a technical climb towards the upper area of the castle, while the shorter course shares part of the same scenery. The atmosphere is popular and open, with changing rooms, showers, cloakroom facilities and refreshment stations along the route and at the finish.
