Trail Vallforners

Trail Vallforners is a mountain race held in Cànoves i Samalús, with start and finish in the Josep Crous sports area. The route runs through the Montseny Natural Park, Biosphere Reserve, along technical trails, forest tracks and lush woodland, in a setting with a strong mountain character and panoramic views. The event offers a very demanding long distance, with around 28 km and +1900 m of elevation gain, and a short distance of around 15 km, as well as a 13 km walk open to walkers. The sections pass by old coal yards and include ropes in some places, with refreshment stations distributed along the course, and a marked respect for the natural environment and good practice in a protected area.
