Esgarrinxada

La Esgarrinxada is a trail event held in Vilanova de l’Aguda on 19 April at 9:00. The main race offers 21,5 km and 1.150 metres of elevation gain, on a route of constant up and down along paths and through woodland, with a stop at Ribelles. The event keeps its 100% trail and nature character, with a different route and more corriols than in other editions. Alongside the long race, the day includes a distance of 12 km and a walk of 8 km, all with staggered starts from the same setting. Organised by the Associació de Joves de Vilanova de l’Aguda, the event brings together a maximum of 300 participants and offers a close local atmosphere, designed both for regular runners and for those looking for a more accessible route.
