Cursa Berén - Sant Quiri

La Cursa Berén - Sant Quiri is a mountain race with start and finish in Berén, in the Alt Urgell, designed to recover old paths and run through a preuado and wild Pyrenean setting. The route combines trails, tracks and sections of steep ascent, with a demanding initial climb towards Sant Quiri and passage through points such as Miravall and the plans of Sant Miquel, on a circular course that also links with nearby villages. The proposal maintains the close feel of a village festival, with the support of local volunteers and local atmosphere from Circuit Fer. The day includes a race, a walk and a children’s category, all with a 9:00 start; the organisers recommend bringing a folding cup for the refreshment stations and provide a childcare service to make it easier for families to take part.
